Compare landed cost, not the headline fee
A low service percentage does not necessarily mean a lower final cost. Give every supplier or sourcing agent the same specification, quantity, inspection scope, delivery city and shipping method, then compare the estimated cost through delivery.
Separate every cost item
Ask the quotation to separate product cost, sourcing and negotiation work, samples, inspection, labels or repacking, China domestic freight, export handling, international freight and destination charges. Confirm which items are fixed, estimated or settled at actual cost.
Confirm quality, payment and import responsibility
Define the inspection checklist and the response to defects before production. Confirm quotation currency, exchange-rate validity, payment milestones and refund conditions. Duties, taxes, licences and final import compliance remain subject to the importer and destination authorities.
